Another Story is a pan-European project inviting audiences to discover and learn from women documentary filmmakers of the 20th and 21st centuries. The project aims to bring new attention to remarkable films overlooked by cinema history, focusing on documentaries by women directors. Their work uncovers hidden narratives and opens doors to unfamiliar perspectives, shaping our shared cultural memory. A network of partners will engage audiences through carefully curated selections, dynamic outreach efforts, and interactive learning formats, critic’s labs, and public discussion panels.
